CACFP Sponsorship Benefits:

CACFP Sponsored Program Must:
- Be registered or licensed family child care provider.
- Enroll children under the age of 13 (or under 18 for after school care).
- Keep daily attendance records.
- Maintain menu record & meal attendance.
- Attend training sessions and workshops
How does CACFP work?
1. Your sponsor will use existing financial documentation to determine your eligibility for either Tier I or Tier II status.
2. You will use the educational resources provided to prepare and serve USDA approved nutritious meals to the children in your care.
3. With the help of your sponsor you will receive a reimbursement check following the rates outlined below.
