MAINTENANCE
Title:  Building Maintenance Technician I (Nashua)
Job Summary:
The incumbent performs routine building maintenance and janitorial tasks. He/she maintains buildings / surrounding grounds in a clean / neat condition. Work is performed in accordance with standardized procedures or prior instructions.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of methods and practices used in janitorial or custodial and maintenance work; knowledge of proper use of a variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions and solvents; ability to read signs and follow oral and written instructions; ability to move heavy furniture, supplies and equipment;required to be in good physical condition; manual dexterity is needed; ability to use common cleaning tools and equipment; ability to operate lawn care and snow removal equipment; knowledge of basic maintenance of buildings including minor electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting and equipment maintenance. Ability to lift seventy-five (75) pounds.  A candidate is required to be in good physical condition with an ability to undertand and follow oral and written instructions; manual dexterity is needed; working knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical is essential.  General knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair is necessary.

NORTH PETERBOROUGH FAMILY PROGRAM
Title:  Children's Program Assistant (Part-time, 15-25/hr wk)
Job Summary:
The incumbent of this position is responsible for: The Children’s Program Assistant will assist the Assistant Children’s Program Coordinator with the daily operations of the After-School and Summer recreation Programs offered by Southern New Hampshire Services North Peterborough Family Program.  These duties will include but are not limited to; facilitating daily craft and recreation projects, assisting participants with daily school assignments, supervising and participating in outdoor activities, monitoring participants behavior to ensure a safe and enriching experience is maintained. Additional responsibilities include ensuring that all participants use appropriate, respectful, and compliant behavior, reporting suspected abuse or neglect of participants by guardians or others, assisting in the daily cleaning of program spaces, supervising the safe and constructive use of all program supplies, monitoring and reporting maintenance issues and supply needs at program sites.  The Children’s program assistants will be expected to be work alone at any given site.  Every effort is made to have two staff members on site, however this may not be possible at all times.  Therefore the Children’s Program Assistant will be responsible for implementing all programming and maintaining appropriate participant behavior.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children is required.  Experience in special education, recreation, or other related field preferred. Ability to participate in vigorous outdoor recreation activity year round is required. Ability to assist with academic assignments preferred. First Aid and CPR required

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
Title: Workforce Development Coordinator
Job Summary:
Administers and directs quality comprehensive and integrated WIA (Adult and Dislocated Workers) programs through SNHS and other Community Action Program staff located at designated NH Works Centers and in collaboration with State and community-level partners.
Qualifications:
Candidate will possess significant experience in coordination roles in either the public or private sector. Candidate will have bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or Human Services/Resources with at least four years of progressively responsible experience in workforce development or personnel management settings.  An equivalent combination of education or experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree if it can be demonstrated that it provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties required of this position.  Knowledge of and experience in such areas of workforce development program operations, laws and regulations, case management, customer service and quality principles, supervision and planning are preferred.  Must have ability to travel throughout the state requiring some overnight travel.
