Helping People. Changing Lives.
What is RSVP?
RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) is a networking organization devoted to connecting volunteers 55 years and over to share their life experiences, skills and talents to help meet the unmet needs in the community.

Why should I join RSVP if I am already a volunteer in the community?
As one of the oldest and largest volunteer organizations in the country, RSVP helps find the “right fit” for you.  Some of the benefits of becoming a volunteer include quarterly newsletters, formal recognition for your service, ongoing support from the RSVP staff, and supplemental auto, accident, and liability insurance to and from a volunteer site while volunteering.

Why do I have to get my hours signed?
Your hours are recorded for these reasons:

Will I be called all the time to volunteer?
No, not if you don’t want to be.  You let us know how busy you would like to be.  We do have some one time on call opportunities that you can be put on a call list for if you choose.

Can I volunteer at more than one place?
Yes, absolutely.  We have some volunteers who are assigned to four or five locations per month.
