Will my e-mail work through dual accounts such as Outlook and WebMail?
Yes,for those of you running both Outlook and WebMail, the following will apply:
Outlook is installed directly on your computer, where as WebMail resides on the actual e-mail server. The server is hosted by our Internet Service Provider. If you open Outlook, and then WebMail soon after, you may not see the new messages in WebMail. Your Outlook account has downloaded the messages from the server, so they are no longer available.
However, a setting can be made in Outlook, to make the messages stay on the server as new, even if Outlook has opened them. Since Webmail is located directly on the server, you can open your WebMail first for new mail, and still see the messages as new on Outlook.
